‘Deeply hurt’ Shafqat Amanat Ali offers apology to fans

KOLKATA: Shafqat Amanat Ali, Pakistani renowned singer, Sunday claimed some audio and technical system faults during his countrywide anthem singing in Eden Gardens stadium may also have appeared like lyrical errors.

“I admit that there were a few audio and technical system faults which could have sounded like lyrical mistakes and i can honestly apologise for now not being able to win your praises this time, however guarantee you I had never “forgotten” our beloved Qaumi Tarana,” Shafqat wrote on his proven Twitter account.

Shafqat and Bollywood superstar Amitabh Bachchan were present in Eden Gardens to sing their respective countrywide anthems before the excessive-voltage Pakistan-India clash.

However, the Pakistani singer did not hold up with the lyrics of the national anthem, drawing complaint and outrage from fanatics across the united states of america.

The singer has due to the fact apologised for his performance, pronouncing that he turned into ‘deeply hurt’ through the little faith that Pakistanis showed in him.
