Federal government are issuing a caution to drivers: you could get hacked, setting your life at risk.

Months in the past, safety researchers proved that vehicle hacking can be carried out reasonably easily by using shutting down a 2014 Jeep Cherokee even as it become riding, and now the FBI is warning individuals that as vehicles emerge as more and more digital, the hacking chance grows significantly, in step with a wired report.

The FBI has issued a public service assertion along with the department of Transportation and the country wide dual carriageway traffic and protection administration (NHTSA) that it’s feasible to hack automobiles and trucks via the internet — even though there haven’t yet been any incidents of vehicle hacking that authorities are aware of.
