Ebola crisis : In Peshawar KTH deputes doctors at Bacha Khan International airport to check Ebola



According to report in Peshawar Khyber Teaching Hospital (KTH) has deputed team of eight doctors with nurses and technicians at the Bacha Khan International Airport to treat suspected deadly Ebola patients.

Team will start their work from October 28, to 31,team will be lead by KTH Medical Superintendent Dr Muhammad Ali that will perform its duty in two shifts i.e. from6am to 12 noon and from 12 noon to 6pm for four days.
In response to the directives of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Health Department, KTH Chief Executive Dr Inayat Shah Roghani deputed medical team for the preventive measures to avoid and minimise the transmission of Ebola virus and management of suspected persons on international flights at the Bacha Khan International Airport.
 

Supected patient would shift to hospital by Civil Aviation Authority.This measure should be taken for saftey .The World Health Organisation will be responsible to distribute SOPs for health staff involved in the management of suspected cases and treatment guideline for screening of suspected cases and treatment guidelines to all concerned.
