Cheap Stunt by ISIS to Terrify Civilians

by

It was Sunday, 16th November; when a disturbing video with title “Islamic State Claims Beheading of Former U.S. Army Ranger/Aid Worker Peter Kassig” was leaked on internet by a terrorist organization ISIS. It was clearly mentioned that the video was intended for ONLY mature audience. It was later discovered that the video was actually meant to release for only SICK audience. Before going further, let me confess that I am neither agreed with the US policy of waging war on Muslim countries on the name of so-called ‘war against terror’ nor supporting any type of fanatics killing innocent on the basis of their wrong interpretation of religious beliefs.
Now let’s come to the main point. The purpose of video was to convey a message to Obama government and warned the United States that they had beheaded a hostage ‘Peter Kassig’ (former US soldier). They had also confessed that they will continue these episodes in the future, with not only other US soldiers but the civilians as well, that too on their own streets of America. Sound scary? HELL yes it is!
Huge slip-ups were bopping in the video, which give birth to hundreds of questions against these radicals such as:
·        From where the hell these militants are getting funds?
·        Why they are wasting money on uniforms?
·        From where they get heavy vehicles?
·        Why they are so desperately trying to come on limelight?
·        Why media team working like Hollywood professionals, that too just to send a little warning message?
·        From where they got the ‘fatwa’ of killing civilians and why announcing it to whole world?
·        From which ‘mufti’ they got permission before killing Peter Kassig and other 14 hostages without presenting them to any court or ‘Qazi’ (judge).
·        Under which law it is said that prisoner had to do walk on ‘dusty’ ramp before getting slaughtered by captor or hostage-takers?
·        Not a single law or ‘religious conviction’ allow to kill human in the way that video was showing BUT By showing the faces of hostages in a way that the audience actually started to feel like a picture of helplessness; and by giving slow motion effects with dramatic background soundtrack was nothing but a cheap stunt to terrify the audience.
·        What’s the point putting logo on videos? Are they having copyright issues so that in case if ANY other terrorist organization DARE to put ISIS video on their page; they can report Google and take the video down? I know it sounds lame but what else could be the reason behind putting LOGO on this video?
·        Check out the first video of duration one minute and twenty five second; at 0:02 a dramatic flashy transition is used with sensational background sound, that is something like ‘Shewww’ which almost take your breath away (if not, then congrats! because this proves that you got GOOD nerves).
·        Some effects were used in audio as well; I mean that was just TOO much. Why on earth the militants (the so-called lover of god) wasting their precious time on VOICE editing?
·        In the beginning of video, militant is holding a deadly dagger in his hand, especially when there is no use of it left. So my question is simple, if ‘Peter Kassig’ was already beheaded, then what’s the point holding dagger in hand?
Perhaps the director is trying to scare the weak hearted audience!
·        In the end of the video, at ‘1:18’ same gaudy effect with background sound ‘Sheww’. Can any of you PLEASE explain me ‘WHY’? :/
·        Checkout the graphic work of this HD quality video, particularly the second one. Was that really necessary to add such amazing Hollywood type of graphic effects to send a simple warning message?
I have watched the video several times BUT still unable to figure out why so much effort was being done just to send a simple warning?

Beware: Deadly disease HOWLING in front of your doorstep

by

We are sorry to announce another bad news for Pakistanis. It’s been quite some time that Dr. Beth Bell (Director of CDC's National Center for Emerging and Zoonotic Infectious Diseases) has been continually asking United Nations for collecting funds to deal with a deadly virus call ‘eBola’. It was very necessary to take strong preventive measures when the reports already proclaim the seriousness of un-pleasant state of affairs. According to initial reports, six hundred million dollars were required to tackle the virus but due to the negligence this swiftly growing virus has reached many countries by now.

According to recent updates, Tasavvur Hussain from Chakwal, Zulfiqar Ahmed from Chiniot and Muhammad Haroon from Karachi is first victim of eBola’s from Pakistan. They all are under observation in different hospitals. Unfortunately this noxious virus will soon gulp the happiness of above mentioned three families and there is NO doubt about it but the more bloodcurdling part is out of sight and that is “WHO is next”? You, me or one of our LOVED ones?

Hundreds of Indian Christians protest as fire destroys church

by

NEW DELHI, (AFP) - Indian Police said Tuesday they were investigating a blaze that devastated a church in the Delhi, as hundreds of Christians took to the streets to protest.

A church spokesman said there was a strong smell of kerosene after the fire that destroyed most of Saint Sebastian s, one of Delhi s biggest churches.

On Monday evening, protesters held a candle light vigil and on Tuesday morning, some 200 members of various churches blocked traffic outside the church.

"The electrical mains unit is intact, so there could not have been a short circuit."

Police said they had registered a case of "mischief by fire" and were questioning various people, including the church watchman.

"The police have assured us that they will constitute a special team to investigate as early as possible and nab the culprits," Delhi Archbishop Anil Couto told the NDTV news network.

Around 1,500 members of Delhi s Christian community protested outside the city s police headquarters on Tuesday, shouting slogans and carrying placards to demand action over the fire.

Fears of religious polarisation have grown in India since the right-wing Hindu nationalist Bharatiya Janata Party stormed to power in May.

Parliamentarian Derek O Brien called on the authorities to act swiftly.

"Horrified. Angry. Saddened with news of Delhi church burnt/destroyed," he tweeted.

Just 2.3 percent of India s total population of 1.2 billion are Christian

by

The FBI warned United States of America  that hackers have used Malicious software to launch destructive attacks in the United States, following a devastating cyberattack last week at Sony Pictures Entertainment.

The five-page, confidential "flash" warning issued to businesses late on Monday provided some technical details about the malicious software that was used in the attack, though it did not name the victim.

An FBI spokesman declined comment when asked if the software had been used against the California-based unit of Sony Corp.

Officials are still analyzing the Sony attack, which caused serious damage to that company's databases, according to NBC News.

USPS 800,000 Workers Hacked by Chinese Hackers

by

The U.S. Postal Service (USPS) revealed Monday that data on its employees may have been hacked

USPS said it recently learned of a data breach affecting the names, dates of birth, Social Security numbers, addresses, employment dates and emergency contact information of up to 800,000 employees.

The Washington Post reports that China may have been involved in the cyberattack, citing anonymous sources. USA TODAY has been unable to confirm the report.

If indeed China is behind the attack, it's likely part of an attempt to gain more information about U.S. government, said Edward Ferrara, an analyst with Forrester, a technology research company.

US drone strikes in Pakistan has surpassed 400

by

The London-based Bureau of Investigative Journalism’s (BIJ) report for October 2014 noted that the number of strikes alone in October stands at 18.

The report went on to say that an average of 3.2 people were killed in each attack.

The Americans try to weaken the enemy by conducting drone strikes in Pakistan,  security analyst Talat Masood told the Press TV correspondent in Islamabad.

Pakistani Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Tasnim Aslam said, “The government of Pakistan is itself taking a decisive action against terrorism and terrorist elements and therefore believes that these strikes are unnecessary and should be stopped.”

Figures released by the BIJ also showed that only 84 people out of the 2,379 killed in US drone strikes in Pakistan since June 2004 were identified as al-Qaeda militants.

These figures are in clear contradiction with claims made by US Secretary of State John Kerry last May when he said, “The only people we fire at are confirmed terror targets, at the highest level. We don’t just fire a drone at somebody we think is a terrorist.

12 million Drupal Websites under hackers attack

by

CMS Drupal has issued a chilling public service announcement to website admins and internet users who might visit the hundreds of thousands of sites running its software.

The unusually alarming statement was part of a “public service announcement” issued by the Drupal project’s security team Wednesday.
“Automated attacks began compromising Drupal 7 websites that were not patched or updated to Drupal 7.32 within hours of the announcement of SA-CORE-2014-005 - Drupal core - SQL injection,” the Drupal security team said. “You should proceed under the assumption that every Drupal 7 website was compromised unless updated or patched before Oct 15th, 11pm UTC, that is 7 hours after the announcement.”
This is a big problem. Because if you *now* update your website to Drupal 7.32 (which doesn’t suffer from the vulnerability) that won’t get rid of any backdoor that the hackers may have already implanted into your system.

The Islamic Leader of Bangladesh Mr. Motiur Rehman Nizami sentenced to death

by

Thousands of people died during a war which broke between Bangladesh and Pakistan, as an independence movement, in 1971. Moti-ur-rehman Nizami, an Islamist leader, was recently given a death sentence by Bangladesh courts on Wednesday, allegedly being responsible for those deaths.
Jamaat-e-islami, one of the biggest religious and political party in Bangladesh is headed by Moti-ur-Rehman Nizami. He was born in 1943 and is respected as a political and religious leader.

He was head of the Jamaat-e-Islami party, was accused of acting as supreme commander of a militia, al-Badr, an auxiliary force which helped the Pakistani army identify and kill pro-independence activists in Bangladesh.
Motiur Rahman Nizami, 71, faced 16 charges including genocide, murder, torture and rape. He sat calmly in the dock as the head of a three-judge panel, M. Enayetur Rahim, read the verdict in the packed courtroom in Dhaka, the capital.

A state prosecutor said the sentence reflected the "gravity of the crimes".
The defence said that the charges were not proven beyond reasonable doubt and that it would appeal.
There are different estimates for the number of people killed in the nine-month Bangladeshi war of secession.
Government figures suggest as many as three million people died, while some say that figure is too high and unverifiable.

The prosecution said the group carried out systematic torture and executions during the war, including of teachers, engineers and journalists.
Nizami served as a minister in the Bangladesh Nationalist Party-led government from 2001-2006. He was also given a death sentence in January after being convicted in an arms smuggling case.
Nizami was a Cabinet minister during former Prime Minister Khaleda Zia's last term in 2001-2006.

The prosecution welcomed the verdict but the defence said they would appeal.

Unmanned US rocket Antares explodes on liftoff in Virginia: NASA

by

In Virginia on Tuesday,An unmanned Antares rocket exploded seconds after liftoff from a commercial launch pad, so it is the first accident since NASA turned to private operators to deliver cargo to the International Space Station. The cause of the cargo ship malfunction has yet to be determined.
Orbital sciences Corp built this 14-story rocket, blasted off its seaside launch pad at the Wallops Flight Facility at 6:22 p.m. EDT carrying a Cygnus cargo ship for the space station. It exploded in a huge fireball moments later.
Orbital Sciences stock was down 12.74 percent after hours, or down $3.87 at $26.50.
According to NASA mission commentator Dan Huot cause of the accident was not immediately known.
There were no report of injury by Huot and Accomack County Sheriff's spokeswoman added, "As far as we know, all personnel are accounted for and everyone's OK."
No-one was injured, said Mr Culbertson, and an investigation team was going through the data to try to establish the cause.
He added it was possible his company's staff had triggered the rocket's destruct mechanism after the launch went wrong, but that he was not certain.
On Wednesday morning, he said, the examination of debris around the site would begin.
Russia's space agency conducted its own launch to the ISS on Wednesday.
The operation, which by chance was on the same day as the Antares launch, was planned long before Wednesday's accident, officials said.
"These are actually modified Russian-built power units that were originally developed for the ill-fated Soviet Moon rocket, the N-1.
"They have been refurbished to modern standards, but one blew up in ground testing earlier this year."

European Union urges stay on executions and review its blasphemy laws

Now one again European Union  has urged Pakistan to abolish death penalty by retaining a moratorium on the capital punishment. It has also asked the country to review its blasphemy laws. The EU delegation also included Ambassador and Head of Delegation of the European Union to Pakistan Lars-Gunnar Wigemark.
On Tuesday, EU delegation showed hope during a meeting with a group of Pakistani lawmakers at the Parliament House , that Pakistan by continuing the moratorium on execution and reviewing blasphemy laws could get free access to European markets.
According to delegation "If Pakistan reviews its blasphemy laws and keeps the moratorium intact, the EU will consider Pakistan for duty-free access under its Generalized System for Preferences (GSP) Plus program,”  “We, however, said Pakistan cannot abolish the death penalty following its Islamic and constitutional rules,” he added.
Previous government which is in 2008, Continuing the ban on the capital, Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif directed the interior ministry last year to halt executions till further orders.Since 2008, Pakistan executed only a couple of prisoners while more than 8,000 prisoners are on death row in more than five dozen jails of the country.
The foreign affairs ministry has also recommended the government avail the GSP-Plus by extending the moratorium.
EU Special Representative to Pakistan for Human Rights Stavros Lambrinidis also expressed deep concerns over growing violence against minorities in Pakistan.
Senator Farhatullah Babar informed the observers that Pakistan was a signatory to different human rights conventions. “We may not be a champion of human rights –but, yes we have made extraordinary progress by introducing forcing fresh legislation into practice in Pakistan,” he added.
Senator Mushahid Hussain Sayed urged the EU to extend its maximum support to Pakistan for acquiring status of the GSP-Plus. Issues of human rights are high on our agenda and the government is making all-out efforts to address them, he added.
“Pakistan is the freest Muslim democracy in the Muslim world,” Mushahid remarked, adding that smooth transition of power from one elected government to the other was a manifestation of the fact that Pakistan strongly believes in democracy and rule of law. Pakistani lawmakers also urged the EU to take notice of human rights violations in Indian-administered Kashmir. When a device comes within range of the network, its name will appear on a list of potentially available wi-fi connections.
While some use their family name or the name of their house, others take a more satirical approach.
'Sometimes it's funny'
